About Daniel

Hi, I’m Daniel Godwin—a husband to Jessica, a father of three wonderful children—two boys and a girl—and a follower of Jesus.

My family gives me daily opportunities to practice what I write about: being present, listening patiently, asking for forgiveness, and loving well. Faith and fatherhood meet in these everyday moments. I’m still learning, and I share these reflections as a dad growing alongside you.

At the heart of this space is a conviction that shapes both my faith and my parenting: we learn to love well as we receive the love of our heavenly Father. The compassion of Jesus reminds me that God welcomes us, meets us in our struggles, and helps us grow through grace.

I created Dads United to encourage fathers to show up, build meaningful relationships with their children, and bring faith into everyday family life. My hope is to offer practical encouragement for dads who want to grow in patience, presence, and love.

Through WithDaddyGod, I share reflections on Scripture, the goodness of God, and the Father’s heart revealed in Jesus. These writings are an invitation to know His love more deeply and discover how it shapes our ordinary days.
